Can anyone tell me how to make this sashing and border? I found the picture on an EQ challenge site. I don't have EQ and I'm not very good at trying to figure out the angles and mathmatics. The blocks I'm using are 14.5 inches and there are 12 of them. I just thought it would give it a dramatic effect but if it's going to take special tools ect. Just tell me that up front because I'm not likely to have them on hand.
That looks like one complicated block....sorry, I am of no use to you today!
ReplyDeletepersonally I'd make the border as two pieces, measureing the border, half it, add about 7/8" cut this as a rectangle and cut along the diaganol should give you the pieces. But try it in paper first! I'd hate for it not to work. Hope that makes sense :)
