A LITTLE OF THE LIGHTER SIDE

Wednesday when I got my "good" news about the testing mistake. Greg sends me pictures to my phone. I've already deleted them... sorry not sharing. They were pictures of SNAKES - IN MY HOUSE! I swore I was not coming home until he'd removed every item they could hide under, checked under the beds - thrown out anything that even resembled a snake and called an exterminator. My mom said she'd have just moved. I'm inclined to agree. Greg found the nest OUTSIDE and got rid of them. He thinks one of the cats may have brought them in? I've not seen my cats carry around a live snake before. But they have brought in live birds, tons of bugs, crickets and attempted to wrangle a toad that I suggested could just stay outside. Oh the mouse in the couch? it was left alone - appearntly there were some ongoing negotiations about mouse house rights. SO All the kitties got lined up on the couch in a time out and a good talking to. Of course I did this more for my own resolve that there would be no more snakes in the house. Most of the cats just yawned and napped or bounded away. I think I need to work on that "you're in big trouble technique."

Now I'm not sure I'm yelling at the right rascles because

#1 That's Greg's sewing area

#2 That's not one of our cats!

  2. Yikes, I hate snakes.. Don't know anything about them, so better not see one anytime soon. Good thing I have dogs and no kitties to bring them inside.
