The Yips?
I seem to be suffering from quilters block - or I'm off my game with the Yips as I've heard it termed in sports. I discovered the other day that I hadn't even put a new needle in my machine for 2 weeks. Not as in it needed changed - I'm talking the machine sat there w/o a needle for that long. How can that be? We usually sew about 2 hours a night at least! So I sat down, prepped everthing and opened a brand new pattern for a Deli Bag. I was a little annoyed as the fabric we purchased was fat 8's not FQ's as the pattern called for. So I either needed to peice it or run about 2 inches smaller. I decided to peice it. I got the front and back panels of the bag together and ended for the night. And that's where it's sat... I just can't seem to get excited about it and get back into it. I've been a little (okay a lot) addicted to Farmville on Facebook. I've been all excited about the release of New Moon in the twilight series - although unwilling to pay $30 for the UberFan Set. So I rented it and I've relentlessly called the video store waiting for their ONE copy of Twilight to come back in. Who only has one copy? Are they for real? Tonight my friend loaned both twilight and new moon to me = so that need has been met. I'm about to rewatch them but as we don't own a TV - I'm stuck doing this on the computer - which is not near the sewing machine. Greg's working on a solution to that so I can sew and watch movies. Sewing and Farmville? I'm not sure that's going to work.
